Project Context:

The goal of this project is the strategic redesign and harmonization of global financial and controlling processes through the implementation and continuous development of integrated SAP S/4HANA solutions.

A special focus is placed on optimizing customer order-specific production and creating a seamless, cross-module end-to-end process chain. The use of modern reporting tools will establish well-founded, data-based decision-making for management.

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA FI/CO Consultant for the strategic optimization and harmonization of global financial and controlling processes with a focus on customer order-specific production, cross-module end-to-end processes, and data-based reporting.

• SAP Expertise: Several years of demonstrable customizing and design experience in S/4HANA (FI & CO).
• Process Know-how: Sound understanding of accounting (HGB/IFRS), cost and performance accounting, as well as integrated corporate planning.
• Technological Plus Points: Prior knowledge in SAP Analytics Cloud, Group Reporting, Central Finance, or SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Languages: German and English

• Process Design: Conception, technical customizing, and continuous optimization of the core modules SAP FI (General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Ledger) and SAP CO (Cost Center Accounting, Product Cost Controlling, Margin Analysis).
• Specific Production Focus: Specific alignment of controlling structures to the requirements of customer order-specific production.
• Calculation Architecture: Setup and support of processes for preliminary, concurrent, and post-costing.
• Profitability Analysis: Implementation of meaningful contribution margin and margin analyses (using classic CO-PA or modern S/4HANA Margin Analysis).
• Cost Object Controlling: Precise mapping of product cost flows (CO-PC).
• Interface Optimization: Ensuring a seamless data flow and interaction of SAP FI/CO with the logistical and operational modules: PS (Project System), SD (Sales and Distribution), PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management).
• Knowledge Transfer: Preparation and execution of target group-specific user workshops and key user training.
• Interface Role: Moderation and active bridging between the requirements of the business (Controlling/Finance department) and IT implementation.
