Senior SAP IS-U Consultant Master Data & Market Communication (MaKo)

Project overview

For a client in the energy industry, experienced support is sought from 02.11.2026 in the area of SAP IS-U master data and market communication (MaKo). The focus is on supporting and further developing an existing SAP R/3 Utilities system with an emphasis on the supplier market role.

The consultant will be responsible for technical consulting of the client, as well as the analysis, conception, and implementation of regulatory and process-related requirements in the areas of master data management, customer management, and supplier change processes. They will act as a central point of contact between specialist departments, development, and adjacent project teams.

Tasks include analyzing and resolving errors in business processes, configuring and optimizing customer and supplier change processes (PDOCs and change documents), adapting master data structures, and leading sub-projects in regulatory initiatives. Furthermore, the consultant will support customer and integration tests, coordinate transports, and assist in implementing new market requirements.

In-depth knowledge of the SAP IS-U environment, particularly in master data, market communication, and supplier change, as well as experience collaborating with ABAP developers and managing technical topics, are prerequisites. Knowledge of relevant market formats such as UTILMD, PARTIN, ORDERS, and QUOTES is also required.

Ideally, the candidate also has experience in SAP CRM, ABAP development, and debugging, possesses ITSM process knowledge, and has expertise in topics such as tenant electricity, building electricity, location bundles, and annex processes.
