Senior SAP License Management Consultant

Project overview

Analysis and further development of SAP license management as well as conception and creation of a future-oriented SAP license management handbook.

The project is divided into the following phases: 1. As-Is Analysis 2. To-Be Concept

Responsibilities

o Conduct a structured 'as-is' analysis of the existing SAP license management

o Analyze and document relevant license management and software lifecycle processes

o Analyze roles, responsibilities, and interfaces

o Identify potential for standardization and optimization

o Develop a 'to-be' concept for SAP license management

o Model and document 'to-be' processes, roles, and responsibilities

o Create a comprehensive SAP license management handbook, including relevant appendices and guidelines

o Conception and optimization of license measurement, license balancing, and license inventory

o Develop concepts for the use and optimization of SAP license management and measurement tools

o Create management presentations and decision-making bases

o Coordinate with relevant departments and stakeholders

Requirements

Proven experience in applying various SAP licensing models on-premise and cloud.

Proof in CV and at least 2 professional references. Proven membership in the DSAG (German-speaking SAP User Group) License Working Group.

Languages:

Very good German skills (C1) in speaking and writing, as well as English skills (B1) for understanding technical terms and documentation.

Willingness to undergo a security check is required.

• Experience with hybrid SAP landscapes
• Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP
• Profound knowledge of various SAP license models for on-premise and cloud
• Experience with SAP LAW, SAP BTP Cockpit, SAP BTP Enterprise Agreement (BTP EA) Consumption, and USU SAPOP
• Experience in SAP license measurement, license optimization, and license balancing
• Experience in preparing for and supporting SAP license audits
• Experience with new SAP and maintenance contracts
• Experience in process modeling, e.g., with BPMN
• Very good analytical and conceptual skills
• Experience in creating technical concepts, handbooks, and management documents
