Senior SAP Migration Expert for Data Migration ECC to S/4HANA

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis together with the business departments
• Execution of data migration from SAP ECC on-prem to S/4HANA in the AWS Cloud using the Migration Cockpit and LSMW
• Extraction of data structures, including custom enhancements, from the legacy SAP system
• Use of APIs within the scope of the migration
• Collaboration with team leaders to drive the data migration forward
• Preparation and execution of workshops for IT and responsible parties of peripheral systems, etc.
• Reflection on the work for individual migrations by the project teams
• Creation, planning, and control of test cases for the migration, including quality gates after go-live
• Ensuring a successful trial run, including sign-off by program management and steering committee
• Risk & Issue Management, as well as ensuring the overall successful migration

• Degree in Information Technology or comparable qualification
• Extensive experience in comparable data migration projects from SAP ECC to S/4HANA
• Very good knowledge of data modeling in S/4HANA, especially regarding SAP Business Partner and sales data
• Very good knowledge of SAP modules SD, MM, and FI/CO
• Excellent knowledge of using the Migration Cockpit and LSMW
• Experience in S/4HANA overall migrations
• Very good knowledge of using APIs in migration
• Very good knowledge of extracting data structures, including custom enhancements, from the legacy SAP system
• Communicative team player with high initiative and leadership competence
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
