The goal of this project is the strategic redesign, optimization, and end-to-end digitalization of primarily order-related manufacturing processes through the implementation of modern SAP S/4HANA solutions (focus modules PS and PP).

As a strategic link between the operational business units and IT, a future-proof system landscape is to be created that efficiently maps the complex requirements of industrial customer-specific manufacturing and sustainably increases operational excellence.

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA Consultant with a focus on the PS and PP modules, who will support the strategic redesign, optimization, and digitalization of order-related manufacturing processes and contribute as a link between the business units and IT for the efficient mapping of complex requirements in industrial customer-specific manufacturing.

Module Integration & Data Flow:

• Manufacturing Expertise: Several years of experience in the manufacturing environment, with a clear focus on industrial customer-specific manufacturing.
• SAP S/4HANA Specialization: Profound user and customizing knowledge, especially in the SAP PS module, as well as a deep understanding of integration with SD, MM, and CO.
• Methodological Competence: Demonstrable experience in creating structured IT concepts and specifications; ideally, initial exposure to SAP Fiori.
• Languages: German and English
• The strategic redesign, optimization, and end-to-end digitalization of primarily order-related manufacturing processes through the implementation of modern SAP S/4HANA solutions (focus modules PS and PP).
• End-to-End Process Optimization: Holistic analysis, harmonization, and digital mapping of primarily order-related production workflows.
• Make-to-Order Focus: Alignment of the system with the specifics of customer-individual manufacturing (project manufacturing) to ensure flexibility and on-time delivery.
• Integrated Value Chain: Ensuring seamless interface integration of SAP PS (Project System) and SAP PP (Production Planning) modules with adjacent core areas: SD (Sales and Distribution / Customer Order Processing), MM (Materials Management / Material Management & Planning), CO (Controlling / Project-specific Manufacturing Controlling & Cost Object Controlling).

Requirements

Training & Business-IT Alignment:

• Requirements Translation: Precise collection of business requirements from production and their translation into functional, standard-aligned SAP concepts (IT requirements).
• Implementation Control: Functional control of the implementation phase, as well as preparation and execution of system rollouts.
• Modern UX Design: Evaluation and targeted introduction of SAP Fiori apps to optimize the user experience directly on the shop floor.
• User Training: Conception and execution of practice-oriented training programs for key users and production managers.
• Interface Coordination: Active promotion of communication and knowledge transfer between operational business (manufacturing) and technical IT.
