Seeking an experienced Software License Manager for a 3-month interim mandate to operatively support an existing license management team in the Swiss insurance sector. The role requires a hands-on personality to take over ongoing tasks independently and contribute from day one.

Senior Software License Manager / SAM Specialist

For an internationally active company in the Swiss insurance environment, we are looking for an experienced Software License Manager for short-term operational support of an existing license management team. The focus is not on a strategic realignment, but on the independent assumption of ongoing tasks. We are looking for a hands-on personality who can quickly familiarize themselves with existing processes and provide productive support from day one.

Responsibilities

Operational management of software licenses, license inventories, and usage rights.
Support of existing software contracts, renewals, and license requests.
Monitoring of license compliance and support for audits and risk analyses.
Control and evaluation of license costs as well as maintenance of existing reports and overviews.
Close cooperation with IT, Procurement, Finance, and external software manufacturers.

Requirements

Several years of practical experience in Software License Management, Software Asset Management, or IT Vendor & License Management.
Sound knowledge of software licensing models, contract management, renewals, and compliance.
Experience with major software manufacturers and ideally common SAM tools.

Very good German and English skills.
Clearly defined interim mandate over three months.
Independent operational responsibility in an established corporate environment.
