Senior Solutions Architect

Project overview

One of our clients is looking for an experienced and broadly skilled solutions architect with a good understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, but where we value technological curiosity, independence, and strong collaboration skills at least as highly as product-specific experience.

About the role

The client is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect for our OIT department, where they will be part of a small architecture team of three people.

We are looking for a broad and technologically curious solutions architect who can translate business needs into concrete solutions and ensure progress across business, IT teams, and vendors.

Microsoft's technologies form a significant part of our IT landscape, but we are not necessarily looking for a Microsoft specialist. We prioritize solid architectural expertise, broad technological understanding, and the ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new areas.

Key tasks

• Solutions Architecture: Design and mature solutions across business applications, integrations, infrastructure, and potentially OT.
• Microsoft Platforms: Work with, among others, Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Contact Center solutions.
• Technology Utilization: Be proactive in the organization and identify opportunities to better utilize existing technologies. This could include replacing manual workflows, utilizing functionality in already purchased products, or introducing new solutions that create value for the business.
• Innovation and AI: Explore the possibilities within Copilot, AI-assisted development, and automation, including through prototypes and proof of concepts.
• Configuration and Customization: Investigate and test possibilities in existing platforms, including configuration, customization, and development of small prototypes that can demonstrate new solutions and functionalities.
• Realization: Drive solutions forward, assist development teams with technical sparring and solution design, and ensure handover to internal teams or external vendors.
• Architecture Practice: Contribute to the development of common architectural principles and working methods.
