Senior System IVV Engineer – Validation of Critical Infrastructures (M/F) – Toulouse

Context: a major player in satellite services and applications, a subsidiary of two major European aeronautics and defense groups. As part of the redesign of an operational information system for a space launch site, you will join the Integration, Verification, and Validation (IVV) team. You will be responsible for validating an infrastructure subsystem, in close collaboration with the teams designing its components.

Missions:

Technical Scope:

• Understand the architecture, functions, interfaces, and requirements of the assigned subsystem
• Analyze technical documents for components (specifications, architecture, installation and operation manuals, release notes)
• Adapt the validation strategy to the subsystem level and choose verification methods (testing, analysis, inspection, demonstration)
• Define the needs for platforms, test equipment, tools, configurations, and data
• Write validation scenarios, test cases, and procedures (nominal, degraded, robustness, interfaces)
• Analyze results, declare and track anomalies, perform re-tests and non-regression tests
• Maintain progress, requirement coverage, and test status in project tools
• Network and security: switches, firewalls, F5
• VMware ESXi virtualization, servers, and clusters
• Infrastructure services: directory, DNS, DHCP, NTP, bastion, certificates, monitoring, log centralization
