Senior Technical Architect - Payment Solutions - EDI

Project overview

Our client is looking for a Senior Technical Architect specialized in payment solutions and data exchange architectures to work on projects related to the EDI application (PARME), covering the acquisition and restitution of SEPA and non-SEPA flows.

The consultant will be involved in the design, evolution, optimization, and security of technical architectures, with a strong cross-functional dimension between infrastructure, applications, performance, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Technical environment:

Middleware and exchanges: IBM MQ, Kafka, Axway API Gateway, CFT (PESIT), EBICS, SWIFT, WTX.

Databases: Oracle RAC, DB2, MySQL, GCP / BigQuery.

Application servers and technologies: Java, Tomcat, Apache, JBoss, WebSphere Application Server, OpenShift.

Systems and infrastructure: Linux, z/OS, OpenSSL.

Scripting and tools: Shell, Python, JIRA.

• Design, evolve, and optimize the technical architecture of the EDI platform (PARME) for SEPA and non-SEPA payment flows.
• Integrate regulatory changes, particularly VoP (Verification of Payee).
• Lead the management of obsolescence for application components and infrastructure.
• Ensure the security, availability, and resilience of the platform (PCA/PRA
• PCO/DRP).
• Manage and evolve inter-application flows, especially when integrating new clients and new banks.
• Lead benchmarks, load tests, and performance optimizations based on volume changes and SLAs.
• Implement and monitor performance and volume KPIs in end-to-end supervision.
• Develop architecture documents and present evolutions in architecture committees.
• Integrate infrastructure optimization and decarbonization challenges.
