Senior Test Automation Engineer

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer for a challenging project in the critical infrastructure sector. The position is limited to 6 months and offers flexible working models after an initial onboarding phase.

Your tasks include the conception, planning, and execution of test automation as well as comprehensive test management with documentation and control. You will work with modern tools such as Smartbear SOAP-UI, Swagger, and Jira, testing complex systems thoroughly.

We expect at least 5-10 years of professional experience in test automation and test management. Your last activity in this area should not be more than one year ago. Sound experience with critical infrastructures is essential.

Requirements

Additionally, we value certifications such as ISTQB, IREB, Scrum (PSM/CSM), ITIL, or Oracle.

We are looking for an analytically thinking personality with a methodical approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work professionally with specialist departments. A security check is required; verification will take place after the start of employment and lasts approximately 3 months, during which on-site presence is necessary. Afterwards, flexible working models are possible.

The position offers the opportunity to contribute your expertise in a security-critical environment and to develop innovative test solutions.

• Secure Java knowledge (SE/EE, JDBC, JMS, JUnit)
• Expertise in SOAP-UI and Swagger
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development and modern test frameworks
