Senior Test Automation Engineer LST / ETCS

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer for a promising project in railway signaling technology and automated testing.

In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and administration of IT workstations, network connections, and user permissions. You will integrate and configure specialized test automation tools and perform technical testing, analysis, and support activities. A focus will be on communication between workstations, servers, and laboratory subsystems.

Your tasks include configuring logging and analysis tools, maintaining technical documentation, and analyzing and resolving technical faults. You will optimize systems and test environments through targeted troubleshooting.

We expect a completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or Traffic Engineering. You should have several years of experience with test automation frameworks and specialized software solutions. Practical knowledge in configuring communication protocols, integrating onboard components, and experience with network analysis tools are required.

Programming skills in Python for module integration and sound IT security knowledge in the area of firewalls and network protocols will complete your profile. Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, are necessary.

The project is limited to four months and takes place on-site. The start date is November 2026.
