Senior Tester Private Banking

Project overview

For a transformation project in the financial services sector, we are looking for experienced Senior Testers with a specialization in Private Banking. You will work as a freelancer in a demanding environment and support an established team in the quality assurance of banking software solutions.

Your tasks include the conception and execution of comprehensive software tests, including feature, end-to-end, and user acceptance tests. You will create and design test cases for complete requirements coverage, prepare test data, and perform manual tests. The documentation of test results will be done in established tools such as Jira and XRay. Furthermore, you will record defects, track them, and support the bug fixing process until resolution. You will work closely with test management and project management and support them with further testing activities as needed.

We expect several years of practical experience in software testing (at least 3 years) as well as a very good understanding of the end-to-end test process in agile and classic project environments. Sound expertise in the investment or private banking environment is required. You should have experience in testing frontend and business applications and possess very good knowledge of Jira and ideally XRay. An ISTQB Foundation Level certification is an advantage. Fluent German and English skills are necessary.

The project runs until May 2027 with an option for extension. The location is in a major city with predominantly 3-4 days on-site presence per week at 100% utilization. Freelancers with a GmbH structure are preferred.
