Lead strategic transformation initiatives end-to-end for a leading insurance company in Zurich. You will be responsible for creating roadmaps, coordinating stakeholders, and managing risks and dependencies.
Project overview
For our client, a leading company in the insurance sector in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced personality as Senior Transformation Manager / Program Manager, who will be responsible for strategic transformation initiatives end-to-end and successfully manage complex change projects.
Responsibilities
- Leadership of several strategic transformation initiatives and programs
- Creation and maintenance of an integrated roadmap, an overarching scope, and a comprehensive delivery plan
- Coordination of business owners, specialist departments, and relevant stakeholders
- Management and monitoring of cross-initiative dependencies
- Responsibility for risk, issue, and escalation management
- Preparation of decision-making bases for management and steering committees
- Ensuring transparency regarding progress, critical path, and necessary decisions
- Coordination of requirements from the areas of Risk, Compliance, Information Security, Data Protection, and Enterprise Architecture
- Planning and support of testing, migration, implementation, and decommissioning activities
- Ensuring clear responsibilities and actively closing ownership gaps
- Close collaboration with business and technology organizations for the successful implementation of strategic projects
- Support for the sustainable anchoring and realization of business benefits from the transformation initiatives
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in leading complex transformation programs, projects, or strategic initiatives
- Demonstrable experience in managing multiple parallel and interdependent workstreams
- Sound knowledge in:
- Project and program management
- Integrated planning
- Stakeholder management
- Risk and escalation management
- Governance and management reporting
- Decision and dependency management
- Experience at the interface between business and IT
- Ability to successfully implement results even without direct leadership responsibility
- Experience in collaborating with senior management and steering committees
- Strong communication and moderation skills
- Fluent German and English skills
