SATIGO is seeking an experienced Senior User Researcher to support a high-profile discovery programme within the UK public sector. The engagement will focus on understanding the needs, behaviours and challenges of external organisations interacting with a developing regulatory framework.

SATIGO is an established digital delivery partner supporting UK public sector organisations through specialist consultancy and outcome-based delivery engagements.
- Lead and deliver user research throughout the discovery lifecycle.
- Plan and conduct research with external businesses, industry stakeholders and internal government teams.
- Identify user needs, behaviours, pain points and barriers to engagement.
- Develop research plans, interview guides, findings and actionable insights.
- Work collaboratively with service designers, business analysts and policy stakeholders.
- Present evidence-based findings to inform future service and policy decisions.
- Adapt research approaches as requirements and priorities evolve.
- Extensive user research experience within UK Central Government, regulators or public sector organisations.
- Proven experience leading GDS-aligned discovery phases for public-facing services.
- Strong qualitative research, stakeholder interviewing and research synthesis skills.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary Agile teams.
- Ability to engage external stakeholders and translate complex findings into clear recommendations.
- Experience working in ambiguous or evolving policy environments.
