Senior UX/UI Designer – Digital Banking

Description

For our client in the banking sector, we are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer for the holistic conception of digital banking applications. You will accompany the entire UX process – from research and idea development through prototyping and validation to quality assurance of the implementation. The focus is on user-friendly journeys and functions for web and mobile channels.

• Conducting user research and usability tests, and preparing the findings as a basis for design decisions
• Developing concepts, user journeys, user flows, and screens for web applications and mobile apps
• Developing and validating prototypes in close collaboration with the business
• Coordinating different stakeholders and translating business requirements into intuitive user interfaces
• Creating design specifications and ensuring UX/UI quality during implementation
• Applying and extending a comprehensive design system as needed
• Ensuring compliance with brand guidelines as well as design and interaction standards

Requirements

• Several years of experience in UX/UI design at a senior level, approximately 5-8 years
• Sound knowledge of design methods along the entire UX process
• Experience in research, ideation, conception, prototyping, validation, and implementation specification
• Very good knowledge of digital UX/UI design principles
• Experience working with extensive design systems
• Experience in designing iOS and Android applications as well as knowledge of the respective platform guidelines
• Confidence in stakeholder management and collaboration with business departments
• German language skills at C2 level
