Senior VMware & Zerto Migration Specialist - £600/day Inside IR35 - 8 Month Contract - Remote (UK) - SCC Flex Contract

We are seeking an experienced Senior VMware & Zerto Migration Specialist to support large-scale infrastructure transformation and cloud migration programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior VMware & Zerto Migration Specialist to lead complex migration projects across VMware, hosted, on-premise and hybrid cloud environments.

• Lead infrastructure discovery, migration planning and technical workshops.
• Develop migration runbooks, wave plans, cutover schedules and rollback procedures.
• Deliver workload migrations across VMware vSphere, ESXi and vCenter environments.
• Configure and manage Zerto Virtual Replication (ZVR) and Virtual Protection Groups (VPGs).
• Execute migration cutovers, failover/failback testing and recovery validation.
• Support disaster recovery readiness and business continuity activities.
• Coordinate networking, storage and infrastructure transitions across multiple teams.
• Produce HLDs, LLDs, migration documentation and technical reports.
• 5+ years experience delivering enterprise infrastructure migrations.
• Extensive VMware experience including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS and vMotion.
• Proven hands-on experience administering and configuring Zerto.
• Experience migrating workloads across cloud, hosted and on-premise environments.
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery, resilience and business continuity.
• Knowledge of storage technologies, Veeam, networking and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Experience working within medium to large enterprise environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and documentation skills.
