We are looking for an experienced Senior SharePoint Consultant to modernize an existing SharePoint landscape within a demanding IT project. The role focuses on technical consulting, implementing modern intranet solutions, and developing SharePoint governance structures in the Microsoft 365 environment.

For a demanding IT project, we are looking for an experienced Senior SharePoint Consultant (m/f/d) to support the further development and modernization of an existing SharePoint landscape. The focus is on technical consulting for the business departments, the implementation of modern intranet solutions, and the further development of SharePoint governance structures in the Microsoft 365 environment.

Responsibilities

Independent technical consulting and support for business departments regarding SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365
Technical management and support of larger SharePoint projects
Conception and modernization of a SharePoint-based intranet
Planning and support of SharePoint content migrations, including the transfer of existing content to modern SharePoint pages
Consulting and training of business users on the creation and management of intranet pages and hub structures
Further development of SharePoint governance regarding site provisioning, lifecycle management, permissions, and access control
Optimization of storage and data management, considering a Copilot-Ready architecture
Technical coordination and management of development teams in a DevOps environment
Conducting basic technical SharePoint training for users
Support in the introduction and further development of SharePoint Advanced Management (SAM)

Requirements

Several years of experience as a Senior SharePoint Consultant with a focus on SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365
Sound knowledge in SharePoint administration, architecture, and governance
Practical experience with SharePoint Advanced Management (SAM)
Experience in technical project management and steering of complex SharePoint projects
Knowledge in the migration and modernization of SharePoint content as well as in the setup of modern intranet and hub structures
Experience with site provisioning, lifecycle management, permission concepts, and data management
Experience in the technical management of developers and DevOps teams
Strong consulting skills and experience in conducting technical user training
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
Experience with Microsoft Copilot and AI governance
Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot Studio
Experience in business enablement and user adoption for AI-supported solutions
Experience in consulting and training on Copilot Studio use cases
Location: Hamburg (North), approx. 70% on-site / 30% remote
Duration: 3 months with an option to extend
Utilization: 3-5 person-days per week
