Safety and Health Coordinator Construction Projects

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Safety and Health Coordinator to support construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for the prevention of safety and health risks through early identification and coordination of safety-related interactions between trades and operational activities in the vicinity of the construction site.

Your tasks include the creation and management of the Safety and Health Protection Plan (SiGe-Plan) as well as the coordination of all measures according to the German Occupational Safety and Health Act. You will analyze hazards, develop preventive protective measures, and provide advice on site setup and scheduling. During execution, you will organize the cooperation of all contractors, conduct regular safety inspections (approx. weekly), and document them comprehensibly.

Your further responsibilities include the creation and updating of the pre-announcement, the adaptation of the site regulations, the monitoring of the proper application of work procedures, and participation in regular construction and safety meetings. You will be involved in formal work releases and create weekly inspection reports.

We expect interdisciplinary expertise in electrical engineering and construction technology, at least three years of professional experience, and comprehensive knowledge of transformer substations. Confidence in communication and organization are essential for this position. Work is digitally supported via project-specific documentation systems.
