Seeking a SIEM System Engineer to integrate and administer the Elastic Security platform, focusing on log onboarding, dashboard creation, and security event correlation within a SOC/SecOps project team.

Integration of a SIEM / Log Analytics solution within the SOC/SecOps project team.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Assist with log onboarding and adapt SIEM / Log Analytics tools
- Implement and administer the Elastic environment (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Kafka)
- Manage Elasticsearch and Kibana applications and implement changes after consultation
- Design dashboards and reports according to defined needs
- Ensure documentation of the environment and solutions
- Configure and fine-tune the Elastic Security platform to collect and correlate security events
- Build and maintain Elastic-based security solutions with the team
- Integrate threat intelligence feeds for proactive detection
- Perform SIEM platform upgrades, ensuring reliability and scalability
- Monitor logs, alerts, and security reports to detect anomalies, including in cloud environments
- Use Elasticsearch for indexing, searching, and analyzing security data
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer or System Engineer focused on cybersecurity, with a focus on SIEM and the Elastic stack (Kibana, Logstash, Kafka, Elasticsearch)
- Good command of Elasticsearch, including indexing, queries, and data visualization
- Familiarity with API scripting and languages like Python or ES/QL for automation
- Experience with log integration in cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
- Good knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
- Ability to analyze and resolve incidents in demanding contexts
- Strong written and oral communication skills for documenting and communicating security topics
- Professional experience in cloud-native environments, including Kubernetes
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards like SOC2 and ISO 27001
- Practice with EDR, SIEM tools, log management, intrusion detection, network security, and email gateways
- Methodical, proactive, and service-oriented approach
