Siemens Opcenter MDD Expert

Project overview

For an international customer project in the Life Sciences and regulated manufacturing sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant with comprehensive expertise in Siemens Opcenter MDD.

The focus of the activity lies on the analysis and design of manufacturing processes and their optimal mapping in the MDD solution. You will analyze existing manufacturing processes, design future shop floor processes, and align functional requirements with standard functionalities. You will evaluate configuration and customizing options and identify where customer-specific extensions are actually required.

Your tasks include defining future-oriented process and solution concepts, considering adjacent shop floor systems and relevant interfaces, and supporting coordination with implementation teams. You will contribute best practices from comparable MES/MDD projects and support the minimization of unnecessary customizations.

Requirements

At least three complete implementation cycles with Siemens Opcenter MDD from conception to implementation. Sound functional knowledge of standard functionalities, configuration options, and customizing options is required. You have a strong understanding of processes in the production and shop floor environment, experience in translating operational requirements into MES/MDD solution concepts, and in collaborating with implementation teams. An independent, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working, as well as good English skills for international project communication, are required.
