Site Manager MV/HV Installation

Project overview

For a demanding infrastructure project in the energy supply sector, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager for the installation and commissioning of a substation.

Responsibilities

Coordination and supervision of all assembly and installation work on the construction site

Management and coordination of subcontractors and trades on site

Ensuring compliance with schedule, quality, and HSE requirements

Supervision of the installation of medium and high-voltage systems

Monitoring of GIS switchgear, transformers, and protection and control technology

Support with testing, inspection, and commissioning activities

Interface between project management, engineering, suppliers, and customers

Documentation of construction progress and regular reporting

Requirements

Several years of experience as a Site Manager, Construction Manager, or Site Supervisor in the energy/T&D environment

Demonstrable experience with medium-voltage and high-voltage systems

Sound knowledge in several of the following areas:

Substations

Medium Voltage (MV)

High Voltage (HV)

GIS switchgear

Protection and control technology

Protection concepts

Transformers

Commissioning of electrical systems

Experience in site coordination and management of subcontractors

Strong safety and quality awareness

Professional level German and English (ideally C1 or higher)

Framework conditions

Start from November/December 2026

Duration initially 6 months

100% on-site in Nauen (5 days per week)
