Job Title: Snowflake Administrator, Clinical Healthcare

The Snowflake Administrator will be responsible for Snowflake administration, platform configuration, performance tuning, security, and integration with Informatica and Epic healthcare data systems.

Clinical healthcare and Epic Systems experience is required.

• The ideal candidate will have worked as a Snowflake Administrator for a large healthcare system.
• Candidate will have advanced SQL skills, and experience supporting enterprise data environments utilizing
• Snowflake Administration: 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Snowflake environments, including platform configuration, virtual warehouses, databases, schemas, security, performance optimization – Snowflake implementation.
• SQL Expertise: Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, troubleshooting, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Informatica Integration: Experience supporting Informatica ETL/ELT pipelines, data ingestion, and integration with Snowflake.
• Healthcare / Epic Experience: Experience working with hospital data environments, preferably integrating Epic Clarity, Caboodle, or other Epic data sources into Snowflake.
• Data Security & Governance: Experience with role-based access control (RBAC), data governance, HIPAA requirements, monitoring, and Snowflake cost management.

Responsibilities

Compensation and Employment

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check. Hourly compensation for this position is expected to be $65 - $80 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and engagement type. This role qualifies for comprehensive employee benefits such as paid time off (PTO), optional health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance, and 401(k) eligibility. • Snowflake Administration: Configure, maintain, monitor, and optimize Snowflake environments to ensure availability, scalability, security, and performance.
• Support Data Integration: Partner with data engineering teams to support Informatica pipelines and the ingestion of Epic clinical, financial, and operational data into Snowflake.
• Optimize Performance: Monitor workloads, troubleshoot SQL queries, optimize virtual warehouses, and manage Snowflake consumption and costs.
• Manage Security: Implement user access, roles, permissions, data protection, and governance controls aligned with healthcare security and HIPAA requirements.
• Support Implementation & Operations: Collaborate with data architects, BI teams, and hospital IT stakeholders to support Snowflake implementation, data warehouse migration, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform operations.
