Seeking an experienced SoC Hardware Integration Engineer for an innovative automotive development project. The role involves acting as a technical interface between SoC manufacturers, hardware development, and software development.
Project overview
For an innovative development project in the automotive sector, we are looking for an experienced SoC Hardware Integration Engineer (m/f/d) to act as a technical interface between SoC manufacturers, hardware development, and software development.
The focus is on the integration of modern processor platforms, the coordination of technical requirements with suppliers, and the support of hardware and system integration activities up to successful commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Technical interface between SoC suppliers and internal development departments
- Analysis, coordination, and implementation of hardware requirements at system level
- Support in the integration of complex automotive SoCs
- Support of hardware bring-up and debugging activities
- Analysis and evaluation of circuit diagrams and hardware architectures
- Support in design reviews and verification activities
- Coordination with hardware, embedded software, and test teams
- Technical evaluation of high-speed interfaces and memory architectures
- Support in error analysis and root cause investigations
Requirements
- Several years of experience in SoC or embedded hardware development
- Experience with multicore processors
- Profound knowledge of modern processor and SoC architectures (ideally automotive SoCs such as Qualcomm, NXP, Renesas, TI, NVIDIA)
- Experience with high-speed interfaces & memory interfaces
- Understanding of embedded Linux environments
- Experience in collaboration with hardware, software, and system teams
- Automotive experience
