Project overview
For an existing software project in the area of visitor management / access management, an experienced software architect is sought at short notice. The goal of the engagement is the technical analysis and evaluation of the existing source code as well as a well-founded assessment of the system's future technical direction.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of the existing system architecture and code base
- Review of the implementation regarding:
- Code quality
- Maintainability
- Scalability
- Extensibility
- Technical risks / Technical Debt
- Evaluation of current technology and architecture decisions
- Assessment of whether the existing system can be meaningfully further developed
- Development of possible courses of action:
- Further development / Refactoring
- Partial modernization
- Reorientation of architecture
- Creation of an effort estimate and recommendation for action
Requirements

- Profile sought
- Several years of experience as a Software or Solution Architect
- Very good knowledge of .NET / C#
- Experience with Node.js-based applications
- Experience in code audits, architecture reviews, and modernization projects
