Project overview

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) Java for a challenging DevOps environment in the area of investments and pensions. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to the further development of business-critical services in an agile environment within a large Agile Release Train (ART).

Responsibilities

• Independent implementation of functional requirements on the existing technology stack (Java Spring Backend, Angular Frontend, Azure Cloud)
• Analysis and implementation of requirements from the business department
• Close collaboration with business departments, clients, and application managers
• Participation in agile ceremonies according to SAFe and SCRUM
• Contribution to the operation and further development of services in a DevOps model
• Support with technical clarifications and coordination in an environment with diverse dependencies

Requirements

Soft Skills

• Completed vocational training or a completed degree in computer science
• Very good knowledge of Java and common Java development tools
• Knowledge of Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA
• Knowledge of Angular and TypeScript
• At least 5 years of experience as a software developer in the Java environment
• Focus on backend development with a good understanding of frontend technologies
• Experience with agile development methods such as SCRUM and SAFe
• Willingness to take on operational tasks in a DevOps environment
• Interest in technical topics related to investments and pensions
• Enjoyment of working with complex technical and organizational dependencies
• German at C2 level and English at B2 level, both written and spoken
• Quick comprehension and strong analytical thinking skills
• Open, communicative personality with a high degree of team orientation
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
