• Further development and adaptation of Windows-based inventory software for generic train control and tracking (developed in C)
• Integration of the software into existing interlocking systems
• Implementation of customer-specific requirements and adaptations within customer projects
• Development in the area of train tracking: tracking trains based on the various states of an interlocking
• Connection and integration of smaller embedded displays, for example, for displaying train numbers
• Work with existing software structures and further development of the existing system architecture

Requirements

+ Completed degree in Computer Science, Signal Technology, Electrical Engineering, or comparable

+ Sound knowledge in the field of C/C++ software development

+ Hardware-related or embedded experience

+ Experience in software testing (small intermediate tests should be carried out repeatedly)

+ Knowledge of development environments such as MS Visual Studio and version control systems such as Git and SVN

+ Experience with agile software development

+ Independent thinking and action -> Someone who can cope with non-optimal guidelines

+ Good German and English language skills
