We would like to bring you on board for a project with our client, a world-leading company in the automotive industry located in Ulm/Stuttgart, as a Software Engineer Vehicle Operating System as soon as possible!

Responsibilities

• Visionary developers are sought who will contribute to significantly accelerating and making the processes of automotive software development more efficient.
• Software components for an integrated and automated development pipeline are being created in the Azure Cloud. This ranges from the definition of new vehicle functions, through the configuration of specific, automatically testable software packages, to the wireless deployment and installation of the software in the vehicle.
• Implementation will take place in an innovative and dedicated development team, as well as in close cooperation with other teams from the vehicle and function development areas.
• The existing scope for design allows for the contribution of own ideas and active co-design of the development of innovative software platforms for the vehicles of the future.

Requirements

Backend: Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot

Frontend: Vue.js or React

Cloud & Infrastructure: Azure or AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform

Architecture: Microservices

• Enjoyment of actively shaping complex systems
• Experience in collaboration with agile teams and enthusiasm for agile working methods
• Several years of experience in backend development, especially with Kotlin or Java
• Ideally, additional knowledge in frontend development with Vue.js or React
• Sound knowledge of modern technologies, especially:
• Initial experience with Python, Golang, or agentic software engineering is advantageous
• Structured and self-reliant way of working, as well as the motivation to actively drive innovative solutions
• Willingness for regular on-site presence, ideally once a week at the Ulm or Stuttgart location
