Full Stack Developer - Python, AWS, TypeScript/React
We're looking for a Full Stack Developer to join an NHS digital transformation programme, building and improving cloud-based services. You'll work across the full stack in Python and TypeScript, deploying on AWS with infrastructure as code and modern CI/CD practices.

- Location: Leeds (hybrid, 1-2 days per month on site)
- Rate: £500 per day, Inside IR35
- Duration: Until May 2027
- Public Sector/Government/NHS Experience essential
- Design, build and maintain full stack applications using Python and TypeScript
- Develop and deploy services on AWS
- Write and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support fast, reliable releases
- Work closely with delivery, product and engineering colleagues in an agile team
- Write clean, tested and well-documented code
- Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of live services
- Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Solid Python development experience
- Strong TypeScript experience, front and back end
- Hands-on AWS experience
- Infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Comfortable working in agile delivery teams
- Public sector or NHS programme experience
- Experience with containerisation (Docker, ECS or similar)
- Understanding of GDS service standards
- Active security clearance or willingness to obtain BPSS
