Develop and enhance market risk applications in a banking environment, focusing on Java/Kotlin development and integration with trading and data systems.

Software Engineer Market Risk / Java / Kotlin Developer / Banking 100% / Zurich
Project: Further development of existing market risk applications in the banking environment and implementation of future development steps.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of business requirements from Risk Management (Market & Credit Risk) as well as Trading and translation into technical solutions
- Design, development, and further development of applications with Java/Kotlin
- Implementation and maintenance of interfaces to trading, market, reference data, and reporting systems
- Ensuring performance, stability, and maintainability (intraday and end-of-day processing)
- Execution of unit, integration, and regression tests
- Error analysis and 3rd-level support in application operations
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation (architecture, design, implementation)

- Several years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer / Application Developer in the banking or financial environment

- Experience with complex application landscapes and system integrations
- Understanding of Risk Management, Trading, or Financial Applications is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills and structured way of working
- German: C2
