Job facts: Direct client project
- Contract Type: Freelance
- Hourly Rate: €60/hour
- Location: Vienna, hybrid
- 1–3 days per week on-site (by arrangement), rest of the time remote
- Residence in Vienna or the greater Vienna area preferred
- Creation, maintenance, and further development of automated test cases with Selenium
- Analysis of requirements and derivation of test cases and test data
- Execution and documentation of manual and automated tests
- Analysis, recording, and tracking of errors
- Reading Java code for error analysis and coordination with development
- Reporting of test progress and test results
- Coordination with business departments and development, e.g., for acceptance tests
- Selenium (Must)
- Java knowledge – ability to read and understand code (Must, no development activity)
- Experience with test management and ticket systems (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Work in agile development environments (e.g., Scrum)
- Very good German language skills, written and spoken (Must)
- Several years of experience in software testing, especially in test automation with Selenium
- Sound knowledge of test methods, test levels, test types, and test case design
- Willingness for regular on-site presence in Vienna
- ISTQB Foundation Level advantageous
- Exciting client project in Vienna
- Flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes in a young, dynamic team
- Further training in testing and development
