Project overview

Project duration – Initially 3 months (01.11.2026 – 31.01.2027), possible extension

Responsibilities

Task description:

• Priority 1: Timely execution of final software tests before system delivery to the customer.
• Priority 2: Expansion of test automation and test infrastructure
• Execute, maintain, and expand X-Ray test cases
• Test documentation & acceptance evidence
• Defect management including reproduction and re-testing
• Set up and expand integration tests
• Design/provide test data & reproducible test environments
• Anchor unit test quality gates in CI/CD pipelines (PR gate)

Requirements

Seniority: Mid-level and someone who can imagine actively driving the test management field forward and also technically guiding other colleagues (m/f/d):

• Comprehensive experience as a software tester (m/f/d) in complex backend systems
• Solid experience SQL / PL/SQL (test data, data validation, database-related tests)
• Comprehensive experience in test automation in the .NET environment or Java environment including integration test frameworks
• CI/CD pipelines and test integration into the build
• Test management with Jira/X-Ray, structured test case design & acceptance methodology
• Fluent German & English

Nice to have

• Frontend testing in the Vue.js environment and/or frontend testing (Playwright/Cypress),
• TestCafé and/or experience in security/compliance testing,
• Azure cloud experience
