Description

Functional Knowledge: The most critical requirement is a strong functional knowledge of retail banking from front to back. This is more important than specific technical skills.

Technical Skills: The candidate should have a wide but shallow technical knowledge, as the projects cut through various technologies from modern front-ends (like React) to Legacy back-ends (like Cobol).

Experience: Experience in financial services is a must, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in Banking.

Project Context

The architect will be involved in two main projects:

A payments and multi-currency account project.

A proposition that spans from a mobile app to the Back End ledger, including "debit card as a service" and a sub-ledger.

The payment-related work is more about payment orchestration and channel-side development, not the underlying payment rails like CHAPS or RTGS
