ARAG is seeking an interim Specialist for the optimization of mandate portfolios, focusing on improving steering, monitoring, and yield development. The role involves independent execution of an advisory assignment with specific deliverables.

This is what you will do as Specialist optimization of mandate portfolios a.i. at ARAG
ARAG SE Nederland engages Draad Consultancy B.V. to carry out an advisory assignment aimed at improving the steering, monitoring, and yield development of the mandate portfolio. The contractor will carry out the assignment independently and determine how the work will be structured and executed. The assignment has the following intended results:
An analysis of the mandate portfolio, including a substantiated assessment of any premium shortfall and its impact on yield and portfolio steering.
A report with recommendations, including an implementation proposal for the structural monitoring of premium adjustments within the available data and system environment.
A policy proposal for identifying, following up on, and safeguarding underperforming mandates.
A plan of action for responsibly and customer-orientedly reducing identified premium arrears.
Advice regarding the improvement of management information and data insights to support product rationalization, clause management, terms and conditions management, and special portfolio agreements.
A proposal for optimizing processes related to insurance technical communication with authorized agents.
If desired, a separate recommendation regarding the refinement of claims cost allocation at the product level, aimed at improving yield steering and tariff policy.
A position paper or advisory memo to support decision-making and communication about product rationalization towards shareholders and other stakeholders.
Knowledge transfer in the form of one or more knowledge sessions, workshops, or advisory discussions in the field of mandate management, data exchange, and monitoring & control.
Execution
The contractor will perform the work independently and without hierarchical direction from the client. The contractor will determine the structure of the work, the allocation of time, and the necessary methods to achieve the agreed-upon results. The parties will only coordinate on desired results, planning, priorities, and necessary information provision.
The contractor may, to the extent appropriate within the nature of the assignment, be replaced or assisted by a qualified third party.
Delivery
Concrete delivery moments and acceptance criteria will be established in consultation between the client and the contractor for each component. The assignment will be considered complete once the agreed-upon advice, reports, plans, and knowledge transfer have been delivered.
