Project overview

For the management, maintenance, and modernization of maritime installations, such as bridges and locks:

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Managing OT systems for the control of bridges and locks
• Supporting the implementation of cybersecurity measures in accordance with NIS and NIS2 directives
• Performing updates and patches on PLC systems, IO systems, sensors, PCs, SCADA software, engineering software, OPC solutions such as Kepware, variable message signs, UPS systems, and variable traffic signs
• Implementing technical changes in PLC and SCADA programs
• Ensuring the continuity and safe operation of critical infrastructure within a highly regulated framework
• Demonstrable expertise in the requested technology or a similar technological context
• Solid knowledge of Siemens Step 7 Classic, including hardware configuration and communication with other systems
• Experience with setting up PLC hardware configurations
• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal in setting up and configuring hardware systems
• Proficiency in Siemens WinCC V7/8 (minimum version 7.4), including redundant systems and Station Configurator
• Experience with Siemens Industrial Networking, including switches and VLAN configurations
• Affinity with OT infrastructure and technical adjustments within industrial automation environments
• Master's degree in electromechanics or automation, or equivalent experience
• Fluent command of Dutch, spoken and written
• Strong command of technical English
