Plant Documentation Specialist

Responsibilities

Profile

• Review of existing plant documentation for completeness and plausibility
• Performance of a gap analysis
• Reconciliation of documentation with the actual plant inventory
• Technical plant inspections and identification of equipment and components
• Recording and validation of relevant plant data, e.g. year of construction, manufacturer, type, serial number
• Review and assignment of maintenance intervals
• Structuring of plant and equipment data for later SAP transfer
• Creation or validation of plant hierarchies
• Identification of missing or incorrect data
• Creation of a reliable database for technical asset and maintenance management
• Sound experience in technical asset and plant management including plant documentation, master data maintenance, and quality assurance of plant and equipment data
• Performance of inventory surveys, gap analyses, and reconciliation of technical documentation with the on-site plant inventory
• Technical understanding of utility plants such as compressed air, steam, purified water/ultrapure water, cooling water, and heating supply, as well as associated components (e.g. pumps, valves, fittings)
• Experience in handling plant hierarchies, technical components, and ideally P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams)
• Ideally experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or life science industry, as well as in SAP migration projects, maintenance strategies, and large technical projects in industrial companies
