Responsibilities
- Reviewing existing plant documentation for completeness and plausibility
- Conducting a gap analysis
- Comparing documentation with the actual plant inventory
- Technical plant inspections and identification of equipment and components
- Recording and validating relevant plant data, e.g., year of manufacture, manufacturer, type, serial number
- Checking and assigning maintenance intervals
- Structuring plant and equipment data for later SAP transfer
- Building or validating plant hierarchies
- Identifying missing or incorrect data
- Creating a reliable database for technical asset and maintenance management
Requirements
My advantages:
- Sound experience in technical asset and plant management, including plant documentation, master data maintenance, and quality assurance of plant and equipment data
- Conducting inventory surveys, gap analyses, and comparing technical documentation with on-site plant inventory
- Technical understanding of utility plants such as compressed air, steam, demineralized/ultrapure water, cooling water, and heat supply, as well as associated components (e.g., pumps, valves, fittings)
- Experience with plant hierarchies, technical components, and ideally P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams)
- Ideally, experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or life science industries, as well as in SAP migration projects, maintenance strategies, and large technical projects in industrial companies
