Project Title: PLC Developer Simatic Structured Text

For a project in the medical technology environment, we are looking for support in the development and enhancement of test automation solutions. The focus is on programming controllers based on Siemens Simatic in Structured Text (SCL). The systems are used to test medical devices and their components in a reproducible, traceable, and standards-compliant manner.

Responsibilities

• Conception and implementation of test sequence controls in Simatic Structured Text
• Further development and maintenance of existing test bench and test automation software
• Connection of sensors, actuators, and measuring technology to the controller
• Creation of modular, reusable blocks and libraries
• Commissioning, testing, and error analysis on test benches
• Documentation of the software according to the specifications customary in regulated environments
• Close coordination with test, quality, and development teams

Requirements

Desirable

• Sound experience in PLC programming with Siemens Simatic (TIA Portal, S*)
• Very good knowledge of Structured Text (SCL)
• Experience in test automation or test bench construction
• Structured, traceable, and documented working method
• Good German language skills, English is an advantage
• Knowledge in the regulated medical technology environment (e.g., IEC 62304, ISO 13485, GAMP 5)
• Experience with software validation and verification
• Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., PROFINET, OPC UA, Modbus)
• Experience with version control and agile working methods
