PLC Programmer Siemens Automation Technology

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced PLC programmer for the development and optimization of automation solutions. In this project, you will work on programming control systems with Siemens Simatic S7 and TIA Portal, as well as analyzing and modernizing existing systems.

Your tasks include the development of PLC controls, the analysis and technical adaptation of existing systems, and the implementation of retrofit solutions. You will develop visualization solutions with WinCC and SCADA systems, commission plants, and perform error analyses. Furthermore, you will integrate sensor technology and measuring, control, and regulation technology into existing automation structures and document all software changes and technical solutions.

We expect a completed education in electrical or automation engineering, for example as an engineer, technician, or master electrician. You should have three to five years of relevant professional experience in PLC programming and industrial automation. Sound practical knowledge of Siemens Simatic S7 and TIA Portal is required, as is experience with WinCC or comparable SCADA systems. The ability to read and technically implement electrical plans and process flow diagrams is necessary. Knowledge in the integration of sensor technology and measuring, control, and regulation technology will round off your profile.

The project has a duration of three months and offers the opportunity to contribute to modern automation projects.
