Responsibilities

Profile

• Develop and optimize SQL queries: Develop, test, and implement complex SQL queries for large datasets with performance optimization.
• Design and evolve SQL-based BI solutions: Understand, extend existing concepts and architectures, and develop new technical solutions.
• Optimize BI data models and data structures: Structure, model, and optimize stable and scalable data models for performance.
• Evolve SQL Server environment: Confidently use and technically advance existing SQL Server functionalities and object types.
• Design interfaces and data flows: Technically design data provision for internal analyses, Dataform, and other third-party systems.
• Evolve reporting solutions: Technically support existing reports and dashboards and implement new requirements.
• Support Enterprise Data Platform: Integrate new data sources and further develop the existing data platform from an SQL/BI perspective.
• In-depth SQL knowledge at an expert level, especially in developing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server, ideally SQL Server 2019.
• Comprehensive architectural understanding in the SQL and relational database environment.
• Experience in designing and evolving SQL-based BI solutions.
• Confident handling of complex data models, large datasets, and SQL Server structures.
• Very good knowledge in performance optimization, indexes, and execution plans.
• Ability to understand existing technical concepts and independently develop them further.
• Practical experience in the BI and reporting environment.
• Experience with data extractions, interfaces, and data provision for third-party systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure is an advantage.
