Job description
Seeking an interim Senior Advisor for traffic noise, responsible for updating and building environmental models, conducting calculations, and advising on noise regulations within spatial planning procedures.
Project overview
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Updating and building environmental models in Geomilieu, with an emphasis on road traffic noise
- Updating and building road traffic and industrial noise models
- Performing calculation sessions in Geomilieu and generating results
- Assessing results against the legal framework and preparing acoustic advisory reports
- Reviewing acoustic reports on road traffic and industrial noise, including noise barrier investigations
- Supporting the preparation of noise exposure maps and action plans according to the EU Environmental Noise Directive
- Supporting the preparation of basic noise emission models within the framework of the Environmental Act
- Advising on noise within spatial planning procedures
- Implementing policy on noise regulations under the Environmental Act
- Supporting the Air team with nitrogen issues during peak periods
- HBO work and thinking level
- Further training in acoustics or noise control, for example the Higher Course in Acoustics or the post-HBO program Environment and Noise
- Knowledge of and experience with noise rules in the environmental plan
- Experience with and knowledge of managing zones around zoned industrial sites
- Meeting the applicable VTH 3.0 criteria
