Responsibilities

Independent preparation, moderation, and follow-up of a cross-departmental workshop

Bringing together the involved departments, EDM responsible parties, metering operations, and the external implementation partner

Technical guidance of discussions and constructive questioning of existing procedures and solution approaches

Contextualizing technical statements and procedures based on your own experience in the energy industry

Moderation of differing viewpoints and support in clarifying open questions, interfaces, and responsibilities

Joint identification of potential improvement approaches and agreement on concrete next steps

Structured documentation of workshop results, agreements, and measures

Requirements

Several years of experience in the energy industry, ideally with energy suppliers, grid operators, or metering point operators

Good technical understanding of Energy Data Management (EDM), Metering Operations, and related energy industry processes

Experience as a Project Manager, Sub-Project Manager, Senior Consultant, or Technical Consultant in the utilities environment

Demonstrable experience in independently leading and moderating technically demanding workshops and alignment meetings

Experience in collaboration and alignment with various departments, management, and external implementation partners

Ability to critically question technical statements and procedures, contextualize them practically, and guide them constructively

Confident handling of different interests and positions, as well as the ability to lead discussions to concrete results

Structured way of working, strong communication skills, and experience in documenting and tracking decisions and measures

In-depth technical SAP-EDM knowledge, ABAP development, or customization experience is not required. Crucial are energy industry expertise, practical project experience, and the ability to technically and methodologically support demanding alignment processes.

For a project in the energy industry environment, we are seeking an experienced freelancer with in-depth knowledge of the energy industry, particularly in Energy Data Management (EDM) and Metering Operations.

The first step involves preparing, moderating, and following up on a workshop with various departments and an external implementation partner. The focus will be on technical alignment, improving collaboration, and jointly defining further measures.

Long-term collaboration is highly probable after the workshop.
