Staffing and Planning System = highly available application used around the clock.

Approx. 5000 users manage nearly 30,000 employees via the Staffing and Planning System.

Phase: Maintenance and further development; as a legacy system, it has been in operation for almost 20 years. The project team ensures the smoothest possible operation and implements targeted functional improvements and enhancements.

1.2 Project/Communication Structure

• Data supply to downstream systems (e.g., payroll, KPI systems, mobile applications for employees)
• Ensuring the quality of the developed software code.
• Programming, implementation, and customization of technical components in applications based on the technologies used, including associated interfaces, modules, and databases, in compliance with the client's standards, e.g., standardized development environments and programming guidelines.
• Fixing errors from test phases in applications and components.
• Documentation of technical components.
• Creation of system documentation and delivery packages for the relevant applications.
• Setup of development environments, including Continuous Integration.
• Performing code reviews, component tests, module tests, and module group tests.
• Ensuring high availability of the Staffing and Planning System through timely analysis and resolution of errors.
• Providing new functionalities to improve workflows using the Staffing and Planning System.
• Implementing the currently valid organizational and collective bargaining regulations in the Staffing and Planning System.
