EWIS Design Engineer

Remote, UK | Outside IR35 | Up to £45/hour | Initial 6-month contract

PRGC is supporting an innovative aerospace business developing next-generation aircraft technology. The programme is well-funded, fast-moving, and entering a significant stage of engineering development, creating a long-term requirement for experienced EWIS Design Engineers.

This is an opportunity to support the design and integration of Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems across an advanced aircraft programme. You will work on electrical installations, harness routing, cable design, and aircraft electrical integration within a specialist aerospace engineering team.

• Proven EWIS, electrical installation, or aircraft wiring design experience within aerospace, aviation, eVTOL, or aircraft manufacturing.
• Strong experience in electrical harness design, cable/wire routing, loom design, and electrical installation integration.
• Strong CATIA V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE capability — essential.
• Experience producing and maintaining detailed electrical installation designs and associated engineering documentation.
• Understanding of aircraft structures, systems interfaces, packaging, and installation constraints.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote engineering environment.
• Initial term: 6 months
• Extension: Strong long-term potential, with years of programme work planned
• Location: Remote, UK-based

• Rate: Up to £45 per hour
