• Further developing the existing target architecture for a strategic modernization program
• Modeling business requirements together with the business departments
• Designing architecture, integration, and data models
• Developing deployment and migration concepts for the transformation to a modern microservices landscape
• Collaborating with multiple agile teams within a release train
• Creating and maintaining technical architecture documentation as well as reviewing architecture and solution designs from external suppliers
• Several years of experience as a Software Architect in the Java Enterprise environment, ideally at a senior or expert level
• Very good knowledge of Java Enterprise technologies, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Experience with microservices, enterprise integration, and cloud-native architectures
• Experience in complex corporate environments as well as in transformation or migration projects
• University degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• Language skills: German
• Analytical and conceptual thinking
• Strong communication skills and team orientation
• Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
