About the Position:

Our client is one of the leading integrated planning offices in Europe and is looking to strengthen its team at the Karlsruhe location with an experienced structural engineer or senior civil engineer in the field of structural design. In this established company, architects and engineers work together with enthusiasm in small project teams on complex, innovative construction projects – integrated, digital, and sustainable.

As a senior civil engineer, you will take responsibility for the structural design of demanding building construction projects and contribute significantly to the development of efficient and economical structural solutions.

• Development and calculation of demanding structural frameworks in building construction, taking into account all project phases
• Independent creation of static calculations and review of formwork and reinforcement plans with a high quality standard
• Technical support during execution and ensuring precise, economical implementation on site
• Identification of optimization potential regarding material use, costs, and feasibility
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with internal departments and external planning partners using BIM-based planning processes
• Active contribution to sustainable structural solutions and support of the Green Deal approach to achieve climate-neutral buildings
• Successfully completed studies in civil engineering or a comparable qualification
• At least 10 years of sound professional experience in structural design with experience in medium to large projects across all service phases
• Comprehensive knowledge of static systems, their development and calculation, as well as relevant approval, planning regulations, laws, regulations, and standards
• Practical experience with BIM planning software, ideally Revit, as well as relevant calculation programs
• Passion for sustainability topics and understanding of climate-friendly construction methods
• Teamwork skills, independent work, and quality awareness
• Participation in demanding international and interdisciplinary building construction projects in integrated teams
