Static Assessment and Load Register for Roof Structure

Project overview

For a project in industrial construction, we are looking for an experienced specialist for the static assessment and documentation of a roof structure. The project will run for three months on-site and begins in November 2026.

Responsibilities

You will conduct a comprehensive static assessment of the roof structure's construction and analyze existing loads using available data. You will utilize an existing 3D laser scan and the derived 3D model for precise inventory recording. A focus will be on determining the load-bearing reserves of individual components and identifying static risks.

Central to this task is the creation of a permanently usable load register, which will serve as the basis for updating future load changes. You will also assess the impact of planned modifications on the system's load-bearing capacity and document technical installations, pipelines, and equipment installed on the roof.

Requirements

You bring sound experience in the static assessment of structures in industrial construction. Knowledge of handling 3D laser scan data, its derivation, and utilization is essential. Methodological knowledge for documenting complex technical systems and the ability to transparently record, analyze, and evaluate complex load situations complete your profile.

This task requires analytical thinking, careful documentation, and the competence to present complex technical issues understandably.
