Tax Accountant / Financial Accountant (m/f/d) with Law Firm Experience

We are a consulting firm that supports tax law firms with digitalization, process optimization, and the introduction of AI, with our own development team and in collaboration with many law firms. To expand our expert team, we are looking for an experienced professional from law firm practice who will develop professional standards with us. You bring the law firm know-how, and our developers implement it in AI agents and automations.

Responsibilities

• Professionally structure and standardize law firm processes such as monthly financial statement reviews, closing preparations, and document verification
• Develop and further develop audit catalogs and checklists
• Professionally test AI agents and automations and provide feedback from a practical perspective
• Clarify technical questions for our team and contribute suggestions for improvement for law firm workflows

• Certified Tax Accountant/Financial Accountant or Tax Assistant with several years of experience in a tax law firm (mandatory)
• You are familiar with law firm workflows beyond your own job, ideally from an organizational or digitalization role (e.g., FAIT or DATEV law firm organization representative)
• Proficient in DATEV, especially company accounting and online company portal
• Structured way of working and enjoyment in thinking through and improving processes
• Openness to AI and digital processes
• Freelance employment, 100% remote
• From 1 day per week, more is welcome, ideally on a fixed day of the week
• Long-term cooperation planned, entry through a small paid pilot project
• No deadlines, no client pressure
