Storage & Layout Planner / Logistics Layout Engineer

Project overview

For an international logistics environment in the wind energy sector, we are looking for an experienced Storage & Layout Planner / Logistics Layout Engineer with a focus on port logistics, warehouse space planning, and transport concepts.

Responsibilities

+ Warehouse space planning and optimization – main task

+ Transport planning and port logistics

+ CAD and technical planning

+ Quality control / Quality Follow-up.

+ Ensuring efficient use of space and practical logistical processes

+ Coordination with relevant departments and authorities, as required

+ Visualization and planning of space utilization and transport routes

+ Creation and adaptation of layouts and warehouse plans

+ Basic understanding of the processes between ship, terminal, warehouse, and land transport.

Requirements

Experience in warehouse space planning, port logistics, transport planning, or project logistics

Very good knowledge of AutoCAD or comparable 2D drawing programs

Practical understanding of the transport chain from ship, terminal, and warehouse to road transport

Technical understanding of the storage, handling, and space planning of large or bulky components

Ability to confidently apply handling instructions, storage, and operating procedures

German language skills min. C1, English language skills min. B2

Residence in Germany, ideally in the Rostock area
