Supervisor Energy and Sustainability (interim)

Project overview

As a supervisor, you will carry out inspections and enforcement regarding the information and energy saving obligation for companies.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Performing complex inspections and checks at companies based on the Recognized Measures List (EML)
• Assessing energy reports, energy studies, and measures for energy saving
• Analyzing energy data and datasets for planning, monitoring, and prioritizing supervision
• Discussing compliance with the energy saving obligation with companies
• Preparing enforcement trajectories with legal substantiation
• Developing and improving templates, reports, procedures, and supervision strategies
• Advising colleagues on issues related to energy and sustainability
• Coaching and training junior supervisors
• Consulting with municipalities, environmental agencies, RVO, and other partners
• Following developments in laws and regulations and translating them into practice
• Contributing to policy development and implementation of energy tasks
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the past 10 years as a supervisor or supervisor/advisor in the field of energy saving measures, with proven involvement in business supervision
• Knowledge of the information and energy saving obligation (EML) and the General Administrative Law Act (AWB), applied in concrete assignments
• Availability from November 11, 2026, for an average of at least 24 hours per week
• Preferably at least 5 years of experience in the past 10 years with supervision, assessment, or advice on complex energy-related matters
• Preferably at least 2 years of experience in the past 5 years with guiding and training junior supervisors
• Practical experience in collecting and analyzing energy data for planning, control, or monitoring purposes
• Diploma at least at HBO bachelor level
• Analytical ability and helicopter view
• Collaborative and communicative skills
• Administrative sensitivity and proactive attitude
