About the client Working at Waterschap Drents Overijsselse Delta means working for an organization that connects living, working, and nature with water. About the department The Project Realization department is responsible for executing projects ('works') across our entire water authority: we are responsible for the construction, redevelopment, and renovation of assets in the areas of water systems, water safety, and water chain. We deliver the required quality, with attention to the environment, administrative, and social consequences within the constraints of time and budget. These projects are carried out according to the principle of integrated project management (IPM).

We work closely with the market, where partnership, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement are important components. We undertake our projects in an IPM team setting.

About the assignment As a supervisor, you are the central point for execution activities. You will prepare the execution meticulously with your colleagues. During the design phase, you will contribute to the design, identify execution risks, and ensure a smooth transition from design to execution. During execution, you are the right-hand person of the project manager and critically monitor compliance with contract conditions and technical quality. In case of illness, you can be deployed independently within our Water Authority as a replacement.

What you bring?

· You have at least MBO (vocational secondary education) work and thinking level;

· You have at least 10 years of work experience in Civil Engineering or Environmental Science;

· You have work experience as a supervisor of execution works at a Water Authority;

· You have experience supervising dredging execution works;

· You possess a B driver's license to reach project locations;

· You can represent the water authority in a positive way;

· Experience with RAW system and UAV is a plus.

· You are environmentally aware and have strong communication skills;

· You are meticulous, flexible, eager to learn, and enthusiastic;

· You are capable of fulfilling an organizing role and can function well both in a team and independently.
